Takeaways from WeGroup
Listen to users and not being afraid to pivot when needed
Working on WeGroup taught me how personal pain points can spark meaningful solutions. Group projects had always been a challenge, and hearing the same frustrations from fellow students validated the need for a tool like this.
One of the biggest takeaways was how much I enjoyed the research phase, especially running focus groups wasn’t just about gathering data—it was fun, and it deepened my passion for understanding and putting users first for every single steps. Also hearing “This could actually help students” made it all worth it.
Looking back, I realized it’s not always about grand changes; even small improvements can make a big impact (plus iterate, iterate, iterate!) . There’s still room for refinement, and I’m excited to push this concept further—whether through more research, new features, or even a web version. This project reminded me why I love UX, solving real problems and creating experiences that matter.
